Lanark Village separated from Lanark Township and became an incorporated entity in June of 1862.

To recognize this 150th Anniversary the Lanark Community Activity Organizing Committee is working with local citizens and community groups to create a weekend of celebration on the August long weekend of August 3/4/5/6, 2012.

Activities will include a parade, a classic car show, a concert, a public religious service, a picnic, historical and artisan displays, a scavenger hunt and more.
