COUNCIL AND COMMITTEE MEETINGS

Committee of the Whole Meetings and Council Meetings

Regular Committee of the Whole meetings are generally held twice a month on Tuesday evenings commencing at 6:00 p.m.

Township Council meetings are generally held immediately after the Committee of the Whole meeting.


The Committee of the Whole meetings are separated into the following five (5) areas of service delivery:

Registry of Disclosures of Pecuniary Interest

The Municipal Conflict of Interest Act (https://www.ontario.ca/laws/statute/90m50) requires members to declare any direct or indirect pecuniary interest in relation to a matter under consideration. A pecuniary interest in a matter is one where there is a reasonable likelihood or expectation of financial loss or gain of the individual or related persons as per the Act. The onus to declare a pecuniary interest rests with the member. It is required that all members submit disclosures of pecuniary interest in writing to the Clerk as well as make a verbal declaration at the meeting.
