Update #2 COVID-19 Lanark Highlands
As COVID-19 pandemic is evolving quickly and updates are emerging daily, we want to assure our residents that the Township is monitoring new information as it becomes available in order to be able to ensure the health and safety of our residents.
The Township will continue to operate and provide the essential services that our Township requires.
The Government of Ontario released the list of essential workplaces and services on Monday night.
Premier Doug Ford announced on Monday afternoon the shutdown of all non-essential services across the province in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. Any businesses that have been deemed nonessential must close by 11:59 p.m on Tuesday March 24th, 2020.
