Update - Life-threatening Motorcycle Collision

(PERTH, ON) Edward FAIR, age 58 of Perth, Ontario died in hospital on September 22, 2019, as a result of injuries he sustained from a collision on Drummond Street West in the Town of Perth around 10:00 p.m. on September 20, 2019. He had been driving a motorcycle at the time of the collision.

Officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with members of the OPP Traffic Reconstruction Unit and Lanark County Paramedics responded to the serious two vehicle collision shortly after calls were made to 9-1-1.

The motorcycle driver had been transported by ORNGE air ambulance to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Drummond Street was shut down for a period of time while officers conducted their investigation. Cause of the collision is still under investigation by police.
