Lanark Highlands, May 1st, 2024 – The Township of Lanark Highlands is pleased to announce Kyle McRae as the new Manager of Planning / Chief Building Official.
Having served as the Chief Building Official for the Township on a contract basis since October 2021, McRae has established strong relationships with residents and contractors and has gained knowledge of the local geography.
With over 12 years of municipal experience in the building sector, McRae brings a wealth of knowledge from his tenure at the Township of Drummond/North Elmsley, Township of Beckwith, and Tay Valley Township. His academic background in construction and civil engineering, combined with his qualification and registration with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and the Ontario Building Officials Association, further enriches his expertise.
