The Township of Lanark Highlands will once again offer internet and telephone voting for the 2026 Municipal Election, giving eligible electors the flexibility to vote from wherever they are.
To help voters become familiar with the process, Intelivote Systems Inc. has created a short video demonstrating how internet and telephone voting works.
The video walks voters through the voting process, including how to use the information provided in their Voter Information Letter to securely access the voting system and cast their ballot.
Whether you plan to vote online using a computer, tablet or smartphone, or prefer to cast your ballot by telephone, the video is a great way to see what to expect before voting begins.
Voting will be available from October 19 to October 26, 2026.
Eligible voters will receive a Voter Information Letter by mail in early October containing their unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) and voting instructions.
Need some help? The Township will also offer Voter Help Centres during the voting period, where staff can assist with the Voters’ List, Voter Information Letters and access to internet or telephone voting.
