You may also visit the Municipal Office during regular business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or on Voting Day, October 26, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

To vote in the Township of Lanark Highlands, you must meet all of the following requirements:

•         Be a Canadian citizen;
•         Be at least 18 years old;
•         Be a resident of the Township; or
•         Be a non-resident of the Township who, or whose spouse, owns or rents property in the Township; and
•        Not be prohibited from voting under any law.

You may vote only once in the Municipal Election, regardless of how many properties you own or rent within the Township. If you are a resident of the Township, you must vote in the ward where you live, whether permanently or seasonally.

If you are a non-resident elector who owns or rents property in more than one ward in the Municipality, you must choose one ward in which to vote. Make sure you are on the Voters’ List for the qualifying address in that ward.
