Community Risk Assessment

The Township of Lanark Highlands is inviting residents and property owners to review and provide feedback on the Draft Community Risk Assessment (CRA).

The Community Risk Assessment helps identify and evaluate fire and public safety risks within the Township. The draft brings together local data, community characteristics, existing service levels and identified risks to help inform future fire protection planning.

Community Open House – October 13

Residents are invited to attend a Community Open House on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, to learn more about the draft Community Risk Assessment, ask questions and share feedback.

Review the Draft and Provide Your Feedback

The draft is being shared before it is finalized so that Council and the community have an opportunity to review the information, methodology and findings.

Visit Engage Lanark Highlands to:

• Review the Draft Community Risk Assessment;

• Learn more about the project; and

• Complete the online comment form.

Comments will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on October 16, 2026

Community input will be considered as the Community Risk Assessment is finalized and brought back to Committee of the Whole.
