TAKE NOTICE THAT, in accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, this notice is to advise of the Township CAO’s intent to pass a By-law to remove the “h” Holding provision applying to the subject property.  The “h” has been placed on the subject property in order to protect the interests of the “Tatlock Quarry” owned and operated by OMYA.  The Town has received correspondence from OMYA confirming their support for the removal of the holding from the subject property.

TAKE NOTE THAT the CAO of Lanark Highlands will consider the request to remove the “h” Holding symbol on June 9^th, under Section 36 of the Planning Act. 

Please note that, under Section 36(3) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, only an applicant may appeal a refusal of Council to remove the holding symbol to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION regarding the removal of “h” by-law amendment will be available for public inspection at the Township of Lanark Highlands Municipal Office by appointment during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
