Starting October 1, 2022, the Mississippi Valley and Rideau Valley Conservation Authorities are working together to provide septic approval services to additional municipalities in the local area, including the Township of Lanark Highlands. Formerly serviced by the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit, several municipalities have now turned to their conservation authorities to provide this service.
