Drumming Circle by MERA

MERA is excited to announce a drumming circle for the whole family, on Sunday, September 29th at 9:30 am. Participants do not need any drumming experience, just their enthusiasm. All drums will be provided. There is no fee but we are asking for donations to MERA.

The drumming leader, William Laurin, has been an active touring drummer and educator for over 15 years. His natural enthusiasm for drumming launched him into a fascinating career in music.

He readily instructs clients, performs for audiences in many countries and facilitates empowering drum circles.

William discovered his love for community drum circles while presenting drum circles at schools and retirement homes around the Ontario and Quebec regions. This experience opened his eyes to the benefits of community drumming which set him on a path to deeper discovery.

William's enthusiastic energy and gregarious smile is sure to make everyone comfortable and ready to drum, sing and dance along. His ease as a facilitator is represented in every drum session that he hosts. His use of the drum in any context will surely whet the palate of the curiously creative mind.

Please register at so we know the number of instruments required.
