TAKE NOTICE THAT the Planning Department of the Township of Lanark Highlands has received an Application for a Zoning By-law Amendment;
AND THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Lanark Highlands will hold a PUBLIC ELECTRONIC TELECONFERENCE MEETING as per procedural By-law on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of considering a proposed zoning by-law amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act. In order to assist the Committee in its review of the proposal, you are requested to provide comments on or before September 27, 2022.
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment will be to prohibit the use of existing buildings and structures on the subject lands from being used for the housing of livestock. This amendment will not preclude the establishment of future buildings for the housing of livestock consistent with the MDS requirements of the Zoning By-law. This amendment is intended to facilitate consent applications on lands to the east of the subject property. A key map showing the location of the subject lands is shown on the reverse side.
PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Township of Lanark Highlands proposes to enact a By-law to stop-up, close and sell a portion of Township unopened road
allowance, set out and described as follows:
Part of the Road Concession 3 and 4 at Lot 15, Geographic Township of Lanark, Township of Lanark Highlands, County of Lanark, designated as Part 1 on Plan 27R11818.
The proposed By-law will come before Council for consideration at its regular meeting held at the Township of Lanark Highlands Municipal Office, 75 George Street, Lanark, Ontario at 6 p.m. on the 11h day of October 2022, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. At that time, Council will hear each person or by his/her counsel, solicitor or agent, any person who claims that their land will be prejudicially affected by the by-law, and who applies to be heard.
