Reeve Peter McLaren has called a Special Meeting of the
Township Council.

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Planning Department of the Township of Lanark Highlands has received an Application for a Zoning By-law Amendment and was deemed complete on November 9th, 2022;
AND THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Lanark Highlands will hold a PUBLIC ELECTRONIC TELECONFERENCE AND IN PERSON MEETING as per procedural By-law on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of considering a proposed zoning by-law amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act. Please dial 1-855-344-7722 or 613-244-1312 then enter Conference ID: 2883824 or attend in person at the Municipal Complex, 75 George Street Lanark ON, to participate in the public meeting. In order to assist the Committee in its review of the proposal, you are requested to provide comments on or before December 6th, 2022.
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment will recognize the required frontage for the retained and severed parcels that were required by the Lanark County Land Division as a condition of consent for application B22-40. Specifically, the Zoning Amendment will recognize the required road frontage for the retained lot on a private road, currently under construction, and 58.22m of road frontage on the retained lands. The nature of the Zoning By-Law Amendment is a condition of application for consent, B22-040 for 1771 4th Concession B Lanark.

Today, Monday, October 24th, you can vote electronically by internet or telephone at any time until 8:00p.m. You can also vote by paper ballot from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Township Municipal office. Refer to your Voter Information Letter for details.
Didn’t receive a Voter Information Letter in the mail? Visit the Township office with your proof of residency and photo ID, contact the Township staff during regular working hours by phone at 613-259-2398 x 231 or by email at .
Need a computer or telephone to vote? The Help Centre will be open at the Township office from 9:00a.m. to 8:00p.m.
