Please note that the following 2025 capital projects are scheduled:
Arnott Brothers Construction Ltd (Arnott Brothers) has been awarded the contract to complete the road rehabilitation of Upper Perth Road approximately 50 m south of 12th Concession C Lanark to Ramsay Concession 1 (approximately 2.5 km). The work involves hard-surface pulverizing, culvert re-placements, brushing, ditching, road widening and double surface treatment. It is anticipated that construction will begin on June 16th, 2025, or shortly thereafter. The proposed construction has a potential to have temporary impacts on local traffic, which will be managed using MTO Book 7 traffic control procedures.
KB Civil Constructors Inc. (KB Civil) has been awarded the contract to complete the two (2) bridge structure replacements on Sheridan Rapids Road at the Mississippi River crossing (North and South). The work will consist of removal of the bridge structures, rehabilitation of the existing concrete abutments and the supply and installation of the new bridge structures. It is anticipated that work will begin around June 18, 2025. A full road closure at this location will commence on June 18th, 2025, extending into mid- October.
