A Level 1 Fire Ban is now in effect. Only recreational fires (campfires, fire pits, outdoor fireplaces, burn barrels, and chimineas) which does not exceed 3.3ft (1m) in diameter are permitted.
We ask that all residents take extreme caution when burning. Do not burn when it is windy, near dead grass, and always have an adequate water source to extinguish the fire.
Reminders:
• You must have a valid fire permit to burn; they are available at: lh.burnpermits.com
• Fires less than 3.3.ft (1m) DO NOT require permit activation
• From April 1 to October 31 burning is only permitted from 2 hours before sunset till 2 hours after sunrise
