Notice of Activation of Reduced Load Period
Monday, 23 February 2026
Reduced load restrictions (5 tonnes per axle) will be in force on all Township of Lanark Highlands roads effective as of Monday, March 2nd, 2026. The reduced load period is necessary for the protection of all Township roads that are susceptible to damage during the spring thaw.The restriction will be removed when the risk of road damage has diminished.

Family Day Weekend Waste Site Hours

Lanark Highlands waste sites that are regularly open on Sundays will be CLOSED Sunday, February 15th, 2026 and will be OPEN Monday, February 16th, 2026 with Sunday hours.
