Each session will contain the same information and is directed to the public, or people with little to no understanding of homelessness. Ian DeJong is a well-established expert in the field and strong/inspirational speaker.

2023 Community Service Awards

On Tuesday Evening at the Committee of the Whole Meeting, Reeve McLaren presented the 2023 Community Service Awards. The 2023 Recipients are The Lanark Era for the Best Community Impact (Business), nominated by Mathe & Glen Bucci and Brenda Guiney for Senior Volunteer of the Year, nominated by Brian Cairns.   Congratulations to this year's recipients! Thank you to everyone who nominated a local individual or business for an award!  
Take notice that the reduced load restrictions (five (5) tonnes per axle) are in force on all Township Roads effective Tuesday February 27, 2024. The reduced load period is necessary for the protection of all Township Roads which are susceptible to damage during spring thaw. The restriction will be removed when the likelihood of road damage has diminished. The activation is also in effect for surrounding municipalities: Lanark County, Tay Valley, Drummond North Elmsley, Mississippi Mills, Beckwith, Montague.
