(LANARK COUNTY, ON) – Between Monday, August 2, 2021 and Monday, August 9, 2021 officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 349 calls for service. 

The calls included:

Motor Vehicle Collisions

Total:      29

Vs Deer: 4

Parking Lots: 1

Single Motor Vehicle off Road (“in ditch”): 3

Vs Raccoon: 1

Vs Porcupine: 1

Domestic Incidents

On August 5, 2021 at 58yr old resident of the City of Cornwall was charged with one count of failing to comply with a probation order as the result of a domestic investigation in Montague Township. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on August 30, 2021.

The Lanark County OPP investigated 10 non-criminal domestic dispute during this week.


Officers of the Lanark County OPP investigated 13 theft complaints during the past week.


The Lanark County OPP received 1 report of fraud this week.
